That means, if you were absent, or had to leave early, or wasn't paying very good attention that day, you can come here and find out what was done. Power-point day one presentation. Review website. Syllabus 2017-18 8/16/17 - Continue PowerPoint "politics vs governance" and begin working on Political Spectrum. 8/17/17- Finish Power point, begin to explore the difference between politics and governance, take Cornell notes and save. (see file) 8/18/17-- Political Spectrum- handout and discuss. (see file). 8/19 and 8/23- Political Attitude/ Ideology Self Evaluation during class and turn in for a grade. (This is NOT available online, you must be present to work on this!) DUE no later than 8/23 BOP 8/23/17- Take a Stand! due Friday. 8/23/17- Citizenship TEST- fill in the answers and you MUST pass this with a 70% or better!. DUE by 8/31/17 8/28/17- Handout Ch.1 Explain these (23) terms in complete sentences. File is to the right! Due by Wed 8/29/17 EOP *Here's an extra credit opportunity: 1. Listen to the attached podcast: Pay-Up! 2. It lasts about 30 minutes. Briefly, tell what the program was about and add your thoughts both for and against the guests argument for raising wages. make it 1 to 1 1/2 pages in length. - IF you have your Citizenship Questions and answers, you may test beginning today. You have until Sept. 15th to pass with a 70% or better! - We watched a performance of the Dec. of Independence.
